Singapore is the one of the best place. Here in this blog we mention some Best Things to Do in Singapore
While Singapore may be the most expensive city in the world, it certainly has racked up a number of other superlatives like the best planned, cleanest, and dare we say — the most entertaining hub in the world. The Lion City is home to the first safari park for nocturnal animals in the world, the largest bird park in Asia, and world's largest rooftop infinity pool. Here, you'll also get to see extraordinary gardens, elaborate temples, righteous architecture, shopping streets, experimental art galleries, and world-class performance venues.
Read on for our picks of what to do when you're in Singapore...
- Merlion Park
This promenade which overlooks the Marina Bay is home to the iconic 28-foot Merlion statue of Singapore. It is a carving of a half-fish and half-lion stone structure that is seen shooting water into the bay. Singapore's beginnings as a fishing village is what is symbolized by the fish, while a nod to Singapura ("Lion City" in Malay), is what the lion stands for. It was erected in 1972 and remains as one of the most popular tourist attractions of the nation.
- Koon Seng Road
Built in the early 20th century, this stretch of road found in Katong is lined with narrow houses which are candy colored. Today, its worth is in millions, unless you have very rich friends. However, you can only admire the ornate exteriors from the street. Laid with gorgeous ceramic tiles which are usually imported from Belgium or England, and painted with enchanting pastel hues of buttercup yellow, aquamarine, and baby pink, the facades here are a delight to watch.

- National Gallery Singapore
- The National Gallery Singapore owns more than 8,000 works and is considered the largest public collector of modern art in Southeast Asia. This structure is spread across two beautiful national monuments. One is the country’s former Supreme Court and the other is the City Hall. Wandering the many galleries of the museum, some visitors spend half a day here, or even more. Cut straight to the inaugural exhibit if you’re pressed for time.
- Singapore Botanic Gardens
Carved into four main areas which are also called "cores", the Singapore Botanic Garden is nothing like you’ve seen before. The one visitors come across first as they pass through the Tanglin Gate is The Tanglin core (the oldest). The Tyersall-Gallop core is integrated into the existing rainforest of the park. The Bukit Bukit Timah core on the other hand, is home to a children's garden which is complete with a suspension bridge, a farm, and tree houses. The Central Core is the main tourist belt. Here, more than 2,000 hybrids and 1,000 species of orchids are on display.
- Haji Lane
Haji Lane is based in Kampong Glam. It is one of the narrowest streets in the country, however that doesn’t stop shoppers from flocking to it every year in a number of thousands. The laneway here is lined with cafés, boutiques, tattoo parlors, old-school Egyptian restaurants, and yoga studios. There are also funky street art murals here which bring out the Instagram set-up.
- Esplanade - Theaters on the Bay
The Esplanade is the premier art venue in Singapore. It is home to many performance spaces which include an orchestra pit in a horseshoe-shaped theater, a stunning state-of-the-art concert hall, a more intimate setting for a recital studio for jazz concerts and chamber music, an open-air concert space, and an outdoor theater. The building is seen as an architectural marvel.
